More than a terabyte of data obtained from Disney’s internal messaging channels has been leaked online by a self-proclaimed “hacktivist group”, including login credentials, code, images and information about unreleased projects.
An anonymous group calling itself Nulbulz took responsibility for the leakalleged that the company’s Slack messaging data was accessed through a Disney employee’s computer. “We downloaded and packaged whatever we could get our hands on,” the group said on X. The group claimed to have obtained “1.1TiB of files and chat messages” from nearly 10,000 corporate Disney Slack channels. Disney has since confirmed this The Wall Street Journal that he was “looking into the matter.”
Nullbullz had hinted at possession of the stolen data on July 12, just hours before Disney’s Slack archive was leaked.
