DoorDash now lets you import grocery lists from Apple’s Reminders app to make it easier to buy groceries on the app. To use the feature, when shopping on DoorDash, look for a button to import a listing in the app and select the listing you want to bring over. (You can even stick a list if you want.) DoorDash will then make suggestions for things to add to your cart based on what’s on your list.
The new feature is part of DoorDash’s suite of updates to make the app more useful for holiday shopping. Another potentially cool change: When you search for a retail item, search results will show where you can buy the product, the price, and the estimated delivery time all in one view. The change is first live for alcohol searches, but the company says the change will be rolled out to other categories across the country in the coming months, such as “beauty, electronics, and more.”
