Epic Games is planning to bring Fortnite Third-party iOS app store AltStore PAL, which is only available in the EU. The company announced this in 2018. Thursday’s blog post about its strategy for mobile stores, and says it “expects to announce support for at least two other third-party stores soon.”
While Epic says it “plans to bring its own mobile games including Fortnite to give all developers the best deals across other mobile stores,” it said, without providing a specific timeline. When reached for comment, AltStore’s Riley Testut pointed to Epic’s post and said “we’re very excited to bring this Fortnite Visit AltStore PAL for more information.”

Epic also announced that “we will end distribution partnerships with mobile stores that act as fare collectors, without competing vigorously and serving all developers fairly, even if those stores offer us exclusive deals for our games.” Epic is likely talking about Apple and Google here, as the company has faced controversies with them.
