Baten Kaitos 1 & 2 HD Remaster Now Available on Steam, Followed by Released on Switch last year,
The ‘Month-1’ edition is available until July 17, which includes concept art, character designs, and development documents. After that, the standard edition will be available.
The remastered collection includes the first game Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, as well as its prequel Baten Kaitos Origins.
Both games were developed by Monolith Soft prior to the Xenoblade Chronicles series and were first released on the GameCube, gaining considerable popularity.
The remaster also features HD graphics as well as several quality-of-life improvements, such as no encounters, auto-battle, and auto-save options.
And, if you’re really struggling, there’s also an instant KO option to kill enemies in one hit.
The first game was released in Europe in 2005 (2003 for Japan and 2004 for the US), although the prequel never came out here. Both games feature a turn-based card-themed battle system.
