News of Beyond Good & Evil remaster released for tomorrow’s showcase


News has emerged that a 20th anniversary edition of Beyond Good & Evil will be released tomorrow.

Limited Run Games Showcase The show will take place on June 20 at 7pm, with “more news” about the game expected to come.

The news comes via the official Beyond Good & Evil account, which also includes some comic artwork from artist Hubert Chevillard featuring everyone’s favorite pig, Uncle Pease.

Last year, Ubisoft has confirmed that the remaster will be released in “early 2024” – Technically this is 21 years after the original film, even though it’s labeled the 20th anniversary.

Some fans were accidentally able to play it last year due to a technical glitch, so it’s unclear why it’s taken so long to hear more news about it.

Nothing was shown about this franchise in the recent Ubisoft Forward livestream, while at least something was expected on this anniversary edition.

At least we know the news is coming, Beyond Good & Evil 2 remains a volatile commodity. it is The game with the longest development time everThe last time we got a proper look at it was with the 2017 E3 trailer.

Still, the official account mentioned above is named Beyond Good & Evil 2, so maybe there’s still hope?
