A statement shared with them said that IG StoryOlivia said she was “absolutely devastated” by Shannon’s passing, and that she contacted her when Shannon was diagnosed with breast cancer and they became “instant friends”.
“We were connected by a shared struggle and a desire to help other women,” she wrote. “Recalling one of the last messages she sent me a few months ago, she asked how I was doing and if there was anything she could do for me…As was her habit, Shannon offered me her support, even though she was in the final stages of battling this terrible disease.”
“Cancer is really scary and Shannon faced it with so much dignity, strength and grace. I’m sending all my love to her mother who was her mother best friend“I will be your hero and champion every step of the way.”
