Philips Hue Next Smart Bedside Lamp It will reportedly be called “Twilight.” The lamp will have two buttons on top for power, scene selection, and sleep automation, and will also have LEDs on the back that will show a sunrise or sunset effect. According to HueBlog.com,
Rear LEDs and main lights, e.g. Hugh DiMeraThe ’s upper and lower lights will apparently be individually controlled, and when its sleep automation is turned on, the site says it will simulate sunset before turning off. It’s not yet clear when Philips will release the Twilight or for how many.
Philips may also have a new 5-meter (about 16 feet) lightstrip called the Hue Solo, as one report says it was listed at “a major US retailer” for $89.99, which was later taken down. The story was published on HueBlog yesterday. and there actually is one Cached Best Buy Hue Solo product page Which describes a “seamless blend of multicoloured lighting in a single LED strip” and says it can be controlled via Bluetooth.
