Planet Coaster 2 release date is confirmed

Planet Coaster 2The sequel to the popular theme park management game now has a confirmed release date of November 6, 2024.

Developer Frontier first announced the game in Julywhich adds a water park to its list of adventures, as well as various upgraded equipment and quality-of-life changes.

The release date is on all platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is now available for pre-order.

The above trailer offers a new look at the game, with a focus on its building and customization capabilities.

New features include event sequencer tools, which add effects to rides such as animatronics and water fountains, and waterpark gameplay that requires consideration of sun, shadows, lifeguards, and changing rooms.

In addition, players will be able to build together (one at a time) on a shared sandbox level, visit each other’s parks, compete in online leaderboards, and share blueprints of rides and entire parks through the cross-platform Frontier Workshop.

The deluxe edition of the game will include the Vintage Funfair Ride Pack of 10 vintage attractions.

Planet Coaster 2 arrives eight years after the first game, and follows the successful Frontier Planet Zoo series,
