Samsung’s upcoming One UI 7 update could bring some big changes to the look of its Galaxy devices. Leaked screenshots @chunvn8888 shared with SmartPrix It shows Samsung’s Android skin with changes to the quick settings and notification panel, as well as UI elements that appear circular overall.
As shown in the leaked screenshot, it looks like Samsung might separate the notification panel from the quick settings shade. The unified shade in One UI 6 will require you to swipe down once to access your notifications and swipe up again to access your quick settings (unless you’re using the Quick Settings app). Using Quick Access) — but that may change in One UI 7.
You may also notice that the shaded elements around the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icons change their squircle shape to a more rounded look in One UI 6. This change is also visible in other areas of One UI 7, including the notification bubbles and the main Settings menu.
SmartPrix A video was also received showing a new notification pop-out for timers and other system apps that looks similar to the iPhone’s Dynamic Island animation. At the bottom of the screen, you can see each app with rounded corners, while the Gallery app icon has a more colorful design.
The screenshot also shows “Continuity Notifications,” which allows you to send video call notifications to your other Galaxy device and pick up your call from there. It looks something like this Google’s upcoming cross-device feature Which allows you to transfer video calls between devices.
