This nifty sixty wireless mechanical Keychron mechanical keyboard is a bargain from Woot

Woot has a history of offering some fantastic keyboard reductions that we’ve covered in the past, with some quite obscene discounts on products. This current reduction on a Keychron K12 gives you a wireless, hot-swappable mechanical keyboard in a more compact layout for just $43.

According to Woot, that’s better than half off its reference price, and is a real steal, even against Keychron’s own store, where this ‘board sits at $60. It is also brand-new, as opposed to some of the open-box deals we’ve seen Woot offer in the past.

The 60 percent layout gives you the alphanumeric keys you need, as opposed to anything extra such as a number pad or nav cluster. This may not suit some folks, and does take some getting used to, but if you don’t mind an SFF layout or you’re tight on desk space, it’s perfectly fine. Keychron also says this keyboard is compatible with both Mac and Windows for added versatility, which is pleasant.

It comes with clicky Gateron G Pro Blue switches inside, which are pleasant if you like a louder and more tactile typing experience. If you don’t like these switches though and you want a change, then you’ll be pleased to know the K12 is hot-swappable with MX-style switches with both three and five pin mounts.

Connectivity is either via three-channel Bluetooth 5.1, or over USB-C if you’d prefer a wired connection, and Keychron says this keyboard will last for up to 200 hours with its white backlight off, giving you weeks’ worth of use between charges.

If you fancy a capable small form factor keyboard for a bargain basement price, don’t miss this Woot deal on the Keychron K12.
